Kijabe School of Nursing (KSN) commenced in 1980 with a class of fourteen students. Graduate nurses from KSN, over 720 so far, are instilled with these beliefs, creating unique health care providers in the Kenyan nursing system. KSN continues its founding vision to train Kenyan Christian nurses to provide health care to patients in different parts of Kenya and around the globe. Some of these graduate nurses are deployed to provide care in the different parts of Kenya.
Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN)-3 ½ years. Entrance requirements:
There are two intakes a year i.e. March and September. The prospective students must pass written and oral interviews, which are conducted by the faculty and the national selection panel. Fees Structure :- 458,000/- paid in three installments, Subject to review and does not include – uniform, internet/library use (other items may be required that are not included in the fees together with boarding personal effects).
DISTANCE LEARNING (e- learning)KRCHNThis is a 2 years module based program, and is only for upgrading.
Kenya Registered Nurse Anesthesia (KRNA)- 1 year and 4 months clinical internshipEntrance requirements
